Su reglamento actual fue aprobado por Orden de 10 de noviembre de 1995 y modificado por Orden de 18 de abril de 2001.Sus niveles de producci\u00f3n de uva que var\u00edan entre los cincuenta y los setenta millones de kilos por a\u00f1o, y unos vol\u00famenes de elaboraci\u00f3n de vinos de aproximadamente cuarenta millones de litros por campa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La D.O. Jumilla abarca seis municipios de Albacete (Albatana, Fuente-\u00c1lamo, Hell\u00edn, Montealegre del Castillo, Ontur y Tobarra) y uno murciano, Jumilla, que es sede del Consejo Regulador de la Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen de Jumilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La superficie total de la D.O. es de 42.000 hect\u00e1reas de vi\u00f1edo, donde Jumilla acapara la mayor extensi\u00f3n, con 22.000 hect\u00e1reas. La gran mayor\u00eda de cepas de uvas tintas. Hay unas 47 bodegas adscritas a esta Denominaci\u00f3n. Por lo general, los suelos tienen un elevado nivel de cal y son pobres en materia org\u00e1nica pero poseen una gran capacidad de retenci\u00f3n del agua y una permeabilidad media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vinosdejumilla.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Logo-CRDO-Jumilla-web.jpg\" alt=\"Consejo Regulador D.O.
