Los speakeasy <\/strong>eran (y son, porque algunos quedan) bares clandestinos<\/strong> donde se vend\u00edan bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas ilegalmente en Estados Unidos (los primeros surgieron en Nueva York) y Canad\u00e1 durante la Prohibici\u00f3n (o Ley Seca 1920 -1933). En estos a\u00f1os no se pod\u00eda elaborar, vender y transportar este tipo de bebidas. Siempre hab\u00eda un ojo de buey en la puerta, a trav\u00e9s del cual se permit\u00eda o no el acceso al bar, era habitual que tuviesen unas escaleras donde se acced\u00eda a un s\u00f3tano escondido y misterioso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"speakeasy<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Speakeasy significa en ingl\u00e9s literalmente hablar bajo (speak easy) ya que as\u00ed deb\u00edan de hablar los clientes a los camareros y en el local, para pedir alcohol sin sospechar nada y para que los polic\u00edas gubernamentales pudieran escucharlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy d\u00eda son magn\u00edficos bares \u00abilegales\u00bb (quieren seguir llevando esa linea de clandestinidad, pero por supuesto son legales). Siempre est\u00e1n a puerta cerrada, normalmente en sitios algo escondidos, exclusivos y solo tienen acceso algunas personas. Incluso algunos rizan el rizo, siendo necesario una contrase\u00f1a o clave para poder acceder al local. Se da mucha importancia al anonimato e intimidad en su interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde 2002 y situado en Barcelona, un antiguo almac\u00e9n que da homenaje a este tipo de bares donde su due\u00f1o, el gran Javier de las Muelas, define como \u00abfactor\u00eda de ideas<\/a>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Madrid, acogedor y encantador. Desde fuera s\u00f3lo se ve una puerta negra, en su interior pierdes la noci\u00f3n del tiempo, s\u00f3lo hay que relajarse y disfrutar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sus due\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n poseen \u00abMedias Puri\u00bb, dos peculiares speakeasy. En el primero se puede hacer una nail spa<\/a><\/em> a cualquier hora o ver a alguien en su piscina colgada sobre las cabezas de los clientes <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Madrid, dirigido por los hermanos Sandoval, le dan mucha importancia a la cocteler\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Back Room<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puede ser uno de los Speakeasy mas conocidos, situado en Nueva York. Una vez pasadas sus escaleras y largos pasillos, te traslada a los a\u00f1os 20 y la Ley Seca, de hecho, sus bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas se sirven en tazas (algo muy com\u00fan en la Prohibici\u00f3n para no hacer visible lo que se consum\u00eda).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
